How to counter Silver in Deadlock

Threat profile
Werewolf duelist. Boot Kick immobilizes, Entangling Bola roots you, and Lycan Curse turns her into a wolf with Mauling Leap and Tail Whack.
Key principle
Silver is much stronger in wolf form. Wait out the transformation or kill her before it.
Lane phase items≈ 0-10 min
- Battle Vest gun and melee damage.
- Enchanter's Emblem her builds lean spirit now.
- Rebuttal parry her wolf melee.
- Return Fire she fights up close.
- Reactive Barrier gives you a barrier the moment Boot Kick hits you, and later upgrades into Indomitable.
- Slowing Hex silences Mauling Leap and her other movement.
Mid game items≈ 10-25 min
- Counterspell How to use: parry as Entangling Bola or Boot Kick reaches you. You keep moving and her engage fails.
- Knockdown stun her during Mauling Leap, the air stun lasts longer.
- Dispel Magic removes the Bola root.
- Silence Wave silence her before she transforms.
- Bullet Resilience core bullet armor.
- Spirit Resilience her builds lean spirit now.

Late game items≈ 25 min +
- Indomitable cleanses Boot Kick.
- Juggernaut melee resist and slows her fire rate.
- Cursed Relic full lockdown.
- Inhibitor cuts her damage and healing.
Patch note
10-05-2026: Silver BUFFED hard, HP per boon up 28 to 31, Sprint speed 1.5 to 2.5, dashes/light melees no longer pause gun cycle time, and Entangling Bola now increases gravity during the debuff AND interrupts flying abilities (same rules as Phantom Strike). His fire rate was reduced in an earlier patch but spirit scaling went up, so builds are more spirit heavy, build a MIX of Bullet and Spirit Resilience, pure bullet underperforms. Watch the bola if you use Majestic Leap/aerial escapes, it now cancels them.

- Riposte his Entangling Bola or transformation cast; duel him in base form.
Bebop
- Hook him during transformation cast; Sticky burst him in base form.
Billy
- Bashdown his transformation; silence him, watch the Entangling Bola on Rising Ram.
Calico
- Kite his wolf form; Gloom Bombs him in base form, dodge the Bola.
Celeste
- His Entangling Bola grounds your float; burst him in base form, dodge the Bola.
Drifter
- Stalker's Mark him in base form; anti heal his lifesteal, avoid wolf form duels.
Dynamo
- Kinetic Pulse his transformation cast; Singularity him, avoid wolf form brawls.
Graves
- Grasping Hands his transformation; Deadheads chip him, wait out wolf form.
Grey Talon
- Charged Shot him in base form; the Entangling Bola grounds your escapes, stay mobile.

- Wait out her wolf form. Use Jumpstart after the Bola to get out quickly.
Vindicta
- His Entangling Bola drops you from Flight, so stay low; Assassinate him in base form.
Viscous
- Cube your ally vs wolf burst; time Puddle Punch so the Bola can't cancel it.
Vyper
- The Entangling Bola grounds you; ammo him at range and kite his wolf form.
Warden
- Wait out the transformation window if you can, he's much stronger in wolf form. Binding Word during the transformation cast wastes the activation.
- Last Stand denies his transformation escape, he can't run out of the tether.
- Willpower cleanses the bola root, but weaker now, Dispel is more reliable if he chains it.
Wraith
- Telekinesis lift his transformation; Full Auto him, mix bullet and spirit resist.
Yamato
- The Bola can ground your Flying Slash; Power Slash him in base form, mix resists.
