How to counter Ivy in Deadlock

Threat profile
Flying support. Entangling Thorns roots, Kudzu Connection tethers and buffs an ally, Stone Form turns her into a statue that slams down, and Air Drop carries an ally in for a slam.
Key principle
Ivy makes her carry much harder to kill. Focus her first, and bring anti heal.
Lane phase items≈ 0-10 min
- Enchanter's Emblem most of her damage is spirit.
- Healbane Kudzu Connection heals a lot.
- Spirit Sap lowers her spirit power.
- Reactive Barrier gives you a barrier the moment the Stone Form stun hits you, and later upgrades into Indomitable.
- Slowing Hex silences her movement and raises her gravity, making Air Drop harder.
Mid game items≈ 10-25 min
- Knockdown drops her out of Air Drop, and the stun is longer in the air.
- Counterspell How to use: parry right as Stone Form or the Air Drop bomb lands on you. You skip the damage and the stun.
- Decay strong anti heal.
- Dispel Magic removes the Entangling Thorns root.
- Spirit Resilience core spirit armor.
- Silence Wave stops her buffing her carry.

Late game items≈ 25 min +
- Indomitable cleanses the Stone Form stun.
- Cursed Relic removes non ultimate buffs, including the one on her carry if you curse them.
- Witchmail heavy spirit resist.
- Inhibitor for gun heroes, cuts the carry's damage and healing.
Patch note
10-05-2026: Ivy nerfed, Stone Form radius 6m to 5.75m and T1 max health heal 7% to 6%. Her turret/self peel is a bit weaker. Air Drop is still the engage, Knockdown remains mandatory. Slows now drag her flight.

- Gloom Bombs her mid Air Drop; focus Ivy over the buffed carry.

- Stalker's Mark Ivy directly; killing her drops her carry's effective HP.
